SeniorsWe are so proud of our Vandegrift Seniors – Isabelle King, Ela Albiston, and Zia Rashed.

Isabelle, Ela and Zia
were running for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Students of the Year program. Their group of students around the Austin area  collectively raised over $925,000 in just 7 weeks!

Students of the Year is a national seven-week challenge through which high school student leaders raise funds and awareness for the fight against blood cancers. This year’s campaign ran from January 8th, 2020 to February 28th, 2020. Luckily we were able to celebrate all of the students hard work with our Grand Finale Event at the JW Marriott in downtown Austin before the virus began to spread in Central Texas. The funds raised benefit the LLS mission: to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

We are so proud and honored that these young ladies are representing Vandegrift in such a noble way.
