Attention

ALL 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will take their yearbook pictures during the student's SCIENCE class on 9/16 or 9/17.

Parent congratulatory ads in the 2022 Veteran yearbook can now be purchased for your graduating senior. These ads recognize your graduating student and his/her accomplishments.

AP Exam Registration

AP Registration is a 2 Step Process. Please follow the steps to complete your enrollment/registration: AP Course Enrollment & Registration.


  1. Step 1 is joining the College Board Classroom for each AP Course you are taking. Access to the AP Classroom will unlock study material, provide test prep including registration for their AP Exam in May. Registration in the AP Classroom for the AP Exam must be completed November 15, 2021 to avoid a $40 late fee per exam.

  2. Step 2 involves paying for your exam through Total Registration. Once you have enrolled in your AP Classroom through the College Board, please complete step 2 with Total Registration to pay for your exam and finalize your AP Exam registration. Remember, pay by November 15, 2021 to avoid that $40 late fee!

2021-2022 VHS Students

Sign-up now in order to keep your mLISD device for the 2021-2022 school year. All VHS students are expected to be college & career ready by having a district-issued mLISD device (Lenovo laptop) OR a BYOD (bring your own device) on the 1st day of school in August 2021.


Sign-up OR re-enroll and pay your fee for the 2020-21 school year now!

The fee is $70 for the entire school year OR $35 for students on free or reduced lunch. Scholarship opportunities are available, please contact your counselor for more information.

If paying with cash, bring money (exact change) and a signed mLISD Student/Parent Acceptance Form to the VHS bookkeeper.

Verification of Enrollment & Attendance (VOE)

A VOE is required by DPS in order to obtain a driver's permit and/or license.


The VOE can be requested on the Resources tab (2nd from the bottom) on the VHS website. Allow a full 24 hours to process the request, and note you will only be notified if the request is being denied. The student must not owe any attendance hours, or have any tech or library fines in order to be approved for a VOE.


VOE's must be picked up from the Front Office, as DPS requires an original document.


VOE's are valid for 30 days during the school year.
